The Shantung Tie - From Como, via Milano - Worldwide

"This characteristic silk fabric is namned after the Shangdong province in China, which in the English speaking world was previously known as Shantung."
Inspiration via B&Tailor, Seaul - South Korea

This characteristic silk fabric is namned after the Shangdong province in China, which in the English speaking world was previously known as Shantung. The heavily textured weave is a 4 seasonal fabric. Ideal for the warm days of summer, as it gives off a feeling of downplayed elegance, just like a well worn linen suit. But, the most popular and well sold tie for Autumn/Winter were you can combine it with your luxury cashmere sport blazer or why not you flannel suit.

In our 4 seasonal collection you can easy recognize its character as a rich woven fabric. By adding slubs of thicker yarns in the looms, you get a effect of each meter unique.

The slubs features irregularities and the outstanding knobs create a more casual/sportive look to your entire look.

We always use a unlined construction for our RTW shantung ties, it gives a light and smooth feeling  with a result of a great dimple to the knot.
