Our soft yarns is sourced from cashmere goats in Mongolia, and is then woven by a world class mill close to the beautiful Lago di Como in Italy. Imagine your favourite unconstructed sport coat. It is light, comfortable and wears beautifully. It is sporty and casual, yet elegant and refined. Our untipped ties are just like that sport coat – By removing the tipping (the fabric used to line the backside of a tie) we achieve a beautiful, light drape that is ideal for a downplayed, elegant look.
The tip is simply the fabric that is used to finish the backside of a tie. Even though this part of your tie is not usually visible, we use the same fabric for the tip as we do for the shell of the tie. This beautiful method is called self-tipping and, while more expensive to produce, creates a more beautiful tie that stands up to closer scrutiny without leaving you disappointed.
