Style Icon - Ian Flemming
I an Lancaster Fleming was an English author, journalist and naval intelligence officer who is best known for his James Bond series of spy novels. As the man that dressed Bond in Saville Row attire he had his own distinct fashion sense. In London he wore blue two-piece suits, a cotton shirt and, always, a bow tie. Fleming himself favored Benson, Perry & Whitely on Cork Street. For relaxation he favored lightweight suits, perhaps in hound's-tooth check. When dressing down at his famed Golden Eye retreat he donned short-sleeved Sea Island cotton shirts, shorts and even sandals.
